Second rower Culum Retallick has joined the Melbourne Rebels in 2016 after making almost half a century of Super Rugby appearances in his native New Zealand.
Retallick, who debuted for the Chiefs in 2010, has also represented the Blues and Highlanders and played alongside new Rebels teammates Tamati Ellison and Adam Thomson.
With 47 Super Rugby games to his name, Retallick brings experience to the Rebels, alongside the likes of Wallaby Luke Jones and young guns Steve Cummins, Sam Jeffries and Lopeti Timani in lock.
Known for his set piece prowess, the 30-year-old will add size and strength to the scrum and is a great lineout option.
Retallick was captain of the Bay of Plenty Steamers in the 2015 ITM Cup.
