Moorabbin Rugby Union Football Club is seeking applications for the Senior Coaching position for the 2018 season.

The Club is looking to recruit Senior and Colts Coaches who can assist in the continued development the senior playing team, supporting other coaches and management to take the club to the next level.

MRUFC will field three senior grade teams, 1 colts Team and 1 women’s Team and junior teams from Under 18 down to under 6. It is the firm intention of the Club to build on the success of its junior program and excellent results of its Senior Teams in 2017. Desired attributes of applicants:

  • Minimum coaching qualifications of ARU Level II or international equivalent
  • Previous coaching experience at Senior/Colts level
  • Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to deal with players at all age groups
  • Excellent problem solving and communication skills
  • An ability to “think on the run” and to deal with a range of stakeholders

The Role:

Coaches will be responsible for:

  • Assisting with the recruitment of all senior grade coaches and support staff.
  • Providing direction and leadership for all senior grade teams including coaches and support staff
  • Align technical strategy across all teams for future development and success
  • Identify retention/development needs of current players
  • Identify recruitment requirements to build a strong on field platform that fits with the Club Culture

Northern Rugby Union Football Club is seeking applications for the Senior Coach position for the 2018 season.

The Club is looking to recruit a Head Coach who can assist in the re-build of its senior playing team, supporting other coaches and management to take the club to the next level.

NRUFC will field two senior grade teams, 1 colts Team and 1 women’s Team and junior teams from Under 18 down to under 6. It is the firm intention of the Club to build on the success of its junior program and excellent results of its Colt’s team in 2017. The Club is well placed to return to the Premier Division because of its excellent facilities and the strength of its junior teams.

  • Previous coaching experience at Senior/Colts level
  • Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to deal with players at all age groups
  • Excellent problem solving and communication skills

The Role:

The Head Coach will be responsible to:

 Assist with the recruitment of all senior grade coaches and support staff.

 Provide direction and leadership for all senior grade teams including coaches and support staff

 Align technical strategy across all teams for future development and success

 Ensure the 1st Grade team performs

 Oversee and manage individual development plans for players, coaches and management

 Manage support staff including medical and strength and conditioning experts.

 Identify retention/development needs of current players

 Identify recruitment requirements to build a strong on field platform that fits with the Club Culture

 Report to the Committee on a monthly basis, including on field performance, injury management and player development strategies

Eltham Rugby Club Senior Grade and U18 Coaches for 2018

Eltham Rugby Union Football Club is seeking applications for Senior and U18 Team Coaching positions for the 2018 season.

Eltham RUFC, established in 1971, is a successful local club that has teams playing in the VRU Second Division (Grand Finalists 2017), Third Division (Preliminary Finalists 2017) and, together with Northern Rugby Club, Colts Competitions (Semi-finalists 2017). In addition, the club ran teams in the VRU Pathway (U6-U10) and Junior (U12-U16) Community Rugby competitions in 2017.

We are looking for individuals with:

  • Level 2 (or working towards L2) qualification or higher (Senior), or Foundation Level (U18)
  • An established coaching track-record (include organisations and grades)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A positive coaching philosophy
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • An ability to engage effectively with players across age groups
  • Working with Children accreditation.

Melbourne University RFC Coaches/Managers for 2018 Season.

Melbourne University Rugby Football Club (MURFC) is seeking applications for Specialist Coaches, Video Analyst’s and Managers across all grades for the 2018 season.

MURFC is one of Victoria’s leading rugby clubs who compete in the Dewar Shield Competition and have 3 senior grade teams, 2 Colts Teams (Premiers 2017) and 2 Womens Teams (Grand Finalist 2017).

The club is well positioned to benefit from the growth of rugby in Victoria; with the ongoing awarding of the Young Achiever Award scholarship to assist young players pursue their rugby and educational pursuits.
